I went to see #FastFive yesterday, with my son and his friend.
The movie was great by the way but thats beside the point.
We pay the $5 to park, then get in line and pay for the three $14.00 tickets , in the middle of the freaking day , get inside and pay for two $4.75 sodas and a $7.00 bag of popcorn to go with our $3.75 bag of candy.. so here i am at $62.50
Yea no discount for childrens tickets (my sons 4) for IMAX , sony digital or 3D movies.
So after gas figure it cost me $65.00 to see a fucking movie?!?!?!
And here the whole time movie makers and theaters and even my PS3 are working their ass off to stop piracy, citing pirated movies for lost ticket revenue???

Its not piracy scaring people away.. its the fact that a mom trying to take two kids to see a midday movie cant do so without accepting a price similar to my freaking light bill!!
And if piracy is hurting things soooo bad.. then how come EVERYTHING goes platinum now and movies are breaking records like it was a hobby?!?
But thats beside the point, the only thing im trying to say here is that in an economy where the average income in America for a female working fulltime is $33,000 with the average household income hovering at $46,000
Thats ( .2%) of the average female income.. i know.. ( .2% ) isnt HUGE.. but.. FORRRR A MOVIE?!?!?!?
